The Government of Romania, through the voice of the Prime Minister, Ludovic Orban, announced today that the state of alert is established throughout the country in accordance with Law 55/2020, and its provisions apply throughout Romania starting today, so it is possible that some things to change.
The Romanian government looked at the way the Romanians relaxed during the last weekend, and starting today, fines will be applied where the provisions imposed by the CNSU for the state of alert throughout the country are violated.
"Prime Minister Ludovic Orban: We instituted the state of alert in accordance with the provisions of Law 55, which comes into force starting today. As long as it is clear that this virus poses major risks to people's lives, any behavior that is not correct and can lead to the infection of our fellow citizens must be sanctioned.
In the next period, all the ministries, all the authorities that are under or under the coordination of the ministries must be mobilized to the maximum. The Ministry of Internal Affairs through the police, the gendarmerie, the border police and through all the structures, including the local police, which is operationally subordinate to the national police, will have to get involved with all its forces to ensure compliance with the rules. "
