Digi, Vodafone, Orange, Telekom they took a series of extremely important decisions for all their clients in Romania, that is, somewhere around 20 million users, even with multiple services. These decisions were taken in 2019 by DIGI, Vodafone, Orange, Telekom, and we are talking about the cascade price increases made by all of them, except those from Orange, who masked this with a new offer of more expensive subscriptions.
Digi, Vodafone, Orange, Telekom they increased the prices of services by very little, in general a few LEI, and all because of GEO 114/2018, the one that generated so many discussions and controversies in our country. Well, all these price increases made by DIGI, Vodafone, Orange, Telekom brought a 3% increase in revenues from the telecom market, reaching 3.5 billion euros in 2019, and all after all the operators I thought they would lose money.

Digi, Vodafone, Orange, Telekom they earned, practically, somewhere around 100 million euros more in 2019 compared to 2018, and the price increases for services mattered a lot, even if not all of them were allowed by ANPC. Even if this increase seems to be quite small, it should not be overlooked, and this is because DIGI, Vodafone, Orange, Telekom complained that they will lose money due to GEO 114/2018, but with these increases of prices only ended up making more money.
Digi, Vodafone, Orange, Telekom they earned 39% of the money from mobile telephony, fx and mobile internet generating 30%, television 14%, the rest of the services another 17%, the average income per inhabitant being 71 LEI. Orange generated 26% of revenues, Vodafone 24%, Telekom 24%, and the rest of the companies the remaining 26%, and it is not only DIGI Romania, but other smaller companies as well, with insignificant revenues in the total amount announced by ANCOM.
