Huawei he is starting to feel problems in Romania due to sanctions from the USA, and here I am not just referring to the fact that his phones no longer have the ability to give people access to widely used applications. No, I'm referring to the fact that Huawei is starting to seriously feel the competition from competitors in China, including on the Romanian market, and as you probably already found out, OPPO launched their phones in our country last week as well.
Huawei had only one serious rival in Romania in the position of those from Xiaomi, the phones of this company being available at almost all major telecommunications operators, i.e. those that sell the most phones. Now, OPPO has entered the Romanian market, probably feeling the fact that there is room to steal some sales from Huawei, which is not excluded to happen, especially since the phones are cheaper, and in terms of specifications, they are not much different.

OPPO it also has the great advantage of offering access to applications and services from Google, which Huawei can no longer offer at the moment, and such two Chinese companies are also fighting on the Romanian market. Of course, this competition is very good news for Romanians, but for Huawei things are getting complicated here as well, a market in which it had started to sell a lot, and to get closer to Samsung, which for now still remains the leader in Romania.
Huawei it has more expensive phones than OPPO, but how much better they are, or not, is debatable, and if the operators will have better prices for the latter, that will matter the most in the end. OPPO's entry into the Romanian market had to happen at some point, but what we see now is new proof of the fact that even the Chinese compete hard with each other, even when there are problems like Huawei's, all over the world.
Huawei will launch in Romania new phone models in 2020, all without applications and services from Google, so it remains to be seen to what extent there will be the possibility to compete effectively with those from OPPO.
