Digi, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom I am at the center of a worrying announcement that came today for all customers in Romania, and this is because we are also talking about a very serious problem that affects a lot of people. Those from ANCOM published new important statistics regarding the security incidents that took place during 2019 in Romania, and unfortunately they announced a 40% increase in those recorded in the DIGI, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom networks last year last.
Digi, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom recorded 794 security incidents with a significant impact on the integrity of telecommunications networks and services, over 23 million connections being affected. According to those from ANCOM, in 2019 the main security problems were for the internet connections of DIGI, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom, and this although in previous years the problems were with mobile phone services or SMS.

The difference between the number of affected internet connections, and those of telephony or SMS, is small, but the premium increase is notable, and DIGI, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom are more than likely working intensively on solving problems and securing additional networks.
Digi, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom services were affected by these security incidents for a period of 4573 hours, an increase of over 50% compared to 2018, the average duration of one being 5 hours and 46 minutes. Practically, these security incidents generated very large losses of time and money, for DIGI, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom, but also for the customers who could not use the services, and maybe in 202 things will be better than in the past years.
Digi, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom they are constantly working on improving the telecommunications networks they have made in Romania so that any kind of problems of this kind can be solved as quickly as possible.
