Government of Romania: flights to/from France, Italy resume

Romanian government flights France Italy

The Government of Romania announced today the decision of the National Committee for Emergency Situations, which adopted decision number 31 allowing the resumption of air flights to/from 5 European countries, i.e. Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, without asymptomatic people staying in isolation, or quarantine.

The Romanian government has thus expanded the list of countries for which quarantine, or isolation, is no longer applied in any way for asymptomatic people, and now it is possible to travel through many areas in Europe without being in isolation, or quarantine, if the person is asymptomatic then when he comes to Romania.

"The Prime Minister of Romania, Ludovic Orban, convened the National Committee for Emergency Situations on Monday, June 22, which adopted decision no. 31 by which the list of states exempted from the application of quarantine/isolation measures (green zone) was updated. The exception applies to asymptomatic persons arriving in Romania from the states on the list.

Thus, five (5) more countries were added: Finland, Italy, Estonia, Ireland and the European territory of France (Metropolitan France).

Flights to and from countries that are subject to the quarantine/isolation exception will be able to resume from all airports in Romania.

The updated list enters into force on 23.06.2020 and can be consulted on the website www.cnscbt.ro.

In the evaluation of the states proposed by the INSP for the green zone, the criterion of the average number of new cases registered in the last 14 days, ie less than five (5) cases per 1 million inhabitants, was taken into account."
