YouTube is implementing a very interesting new feature for people all over the world, the company wants to offer a new experience of using its video sharing platform on mobile phones and tablets, right now.
YouTube is going to allow people to combine video clips of a maximum of 15 seconds in a single video clip that can be published on any of its own channels, and we are talking about a very interesting idea of the company owned by Google.
YouTube will basically bring the system behind Stories to the channels of content creators, and all because the Stories function in the application has not exactly had a success story, so this new idea could be what was needed for the world to use such a system.
“Testing a way to record multi-segment videos: We're testing a new way for creators to easily record multiple clips directly in the YouTube mobile app and upload as a single video. If you're in this experiment, you'll see an option to "create a video" in the mobile upload flow. Tap or hold the record button to record the first clip, then tap or release the button again to stop recording that clip.
Repeat these steps until you have captured images up to a maximum length of 15 seconds. If you want to upload a longer video, you'll still be able to do so by uploading from your phone's gallery instead of recording through the app. We're starting these experiments on mobile (both Android and iOS) with a small group of people while we gather feedback."
