The Ministry of Health announced today how many thousands of people still infected with the new Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals due to the lack of legislation that would force them to stay hospitalized for further treatment, something that has been happening regularly lately.
The Ministry of Health announced that more than 3000 patients still infected with the new Coronavirus have left the hospitals even though they are still infected, the figure being a large one, but we are only talking about a continuation of the situation that started more than a week ago.
The Ministry of Health says that 2.286 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after admission, while 823 patients were discharged regardless of when they were admitted, and this only because they expressly requested this.
"Until today, July 17, on the territory of Romania, 35.802 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 24.598 were discharged, of which 22.312 cured patients and 2.286 asymptomatic patients, discharged 10 days after detection.
At the same time, to date, 823 patients with a positive test have been discharged upon request."
