The number of cases of Coronavirus in Romania is continuously increasing at the moment, at the weekend exponentially more cases were announced than usual, which shows us that the situation is extremely serious, although few people understand this, and continue to does not respect the safety measures.
New outbreaks of the Coronavirus continue to appear almost every day in our country, and unfortunately we are talking about situations that are constantly escalating, which makes us realize that things are not going anywhere in the right direction, which we wanted all of us.
681 new infections have been confirmed, but don't be fooled by the decrease compared to the previous days, and this is because we are talking about tests done on a Sunday, much less than usual, so we are not talking about a decrease of infections, but only of tests.
The Romanian government is already starting to think about restrictions for Romanians because the population, in one part manipulated, in another completely careless, does not understand how to protect itself, so new strict rules are needed, because otherwise no one understands how serious the danger is.
"Until today, July 20, on the territory of Romania, 38.139 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 25.213 were discharged, of which 22.747 cured patients and 2.466 asymptomatic patients, discharged 10 days after detection.
At the same time, up to now, 972 patients with a positive test have been discharged upon request.

To date, 2.038 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.
Between 19.07.2020 (10:00) and 20.07.2020 (10:00) 12 deaths (7 men and 5 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, admitted to hospitals in Argeș, Bistrița-Năsăud, Galati, Prahova, Timiș, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea and Ilfov.
Of these, 1 death was registered in the age category 40-49 years, 1 death in the age category 50-59 years, 1 in the age category 60-69 years, 5 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 4 deaths in people over 80 years old.
11 of the deaths are of patients who had comorbidities. One deceased patient had no comorbidities.
Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 681 new cases of illness have been registered.
At the moment, 293 patients are admitted to the ATI.
Up to this date, at the national level, 967.192 tests have been processed.
In the last 24 hours, 339 calls were made to the single emergency number 112.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 1.520 contraventional sanctions, worth 581.505 lei.
We remind citizens that the Ministry of Internal Affairs operationalized, starting on 04.07.2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where violations of health protection rules can be reported.
The calls are taken by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for verification of the reported aspects.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, 5.215 Romanian citizens have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1.885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 117 in France, 2.330 in Germany, 129 in Great Britain, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the USA, 111 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 15 in Greece, 2 in Cyprus and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil, India, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Sweden. From the beginning of the epidemic of COVID-19 (coronavirus) until this moment, 122 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the US and one in Brazil, have passed away.
Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 158 were declared cured: 135 in Germany, 11 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
