The Romanian government has announced that 6 new towns in Romania will enter quarantine starting today, the orders being signed by Raed Arafat, the head of the DSU, and they apply from the moment for our country, and we are talking about decisions that come as a surprise to many .
The Romanian government quarantines the towns of Balilesti and Darmanesti in Arges county, and the towns of Gurahont, Bontesti, Seleus and Moroda in Arad county, joining the other towns where quarantine has already been imposed by the authorities.
The Romanian government had announced that it will impose quarantine in the localities where the number of new cases of infection with the new Coronavirus will impose this, and as you can see, there are starting to be more and more situations where measures of this kind are completely necessary.
"The County Committee for Emergency Situations met, Friday evening, in an extraordinary meeting. Considering the epidemiological situation in the county, generated by the new coronavirus, DSP Argeș leadership requested the quarantine of two municipalities, starting on August 1, 2020: Bălilești and Dârmănești. The mayors of the two communes in Argeș were invited to participate in the meeting.
Taking into account decision no. 27 of the County Committee for Emergency Situations, issued at the proposal of DSP Argeș no. 20113/31.07.2020, based on the epidemiological assessment approved by INSP, which states that the community spread cannot be controlled by other methods, and the number of infected people is over the threshold of 3 cases/1000 inhabitants, the head of the Department for Emergency Situations issued the orders establishing the zonal quarantine, for a period of 14 days, starting from 01.08.2020 (01.00), for the communes Balilesti and Dârmanesti.
According to the CJSU Decision, entry/exit to/from the two municipalities through areas and access roads other than those open to public traffic on European, national, county and municipal roads is prohibited.
According to the legal provisions in force, entry and exit are allowed in the quarantined locality for:
a) freight transport, regardless of its nature, of raw materials and resources necessary for carrying out economic activities in the quarantined locality, as well as supplying the population;
b) persons who do not live in the quarantined area, but who carry out economic activities or in the field of defense, public order, national security, health, emergency situations, local public administration, social assistance and protection, judicial, public utility services, energy, agriculture, public food, water supply, communications and transport; people taking college entrance exams;
c) persons who live in the quarantined area and carry out professional activity outside the quarantined area with the presentation of a certificate from the employer, service card or any other document certifying the professional activity;
d) persons who carry out agricultural activities or for the sale of agri-food products;
e) moving for other justified reasons, such as caring for/accompanying children/family members, caring for a relative/relative or dependent, assisting the elderly, sick or disabled, the death of a family member;
f) travel for medical assistance that cannot be postponed or carried out remotely;
g) medical emergencies.
