The Government of Romania: order to verify compliance with protective measures

The Romanian government respects protection

The Romanian government wants the protection measures in Romania to be respected, so Prime Minister Ludovic Orban gave an order to all institutions subordinate to the government to check compliance with all the rules throughout the country.

The Romanian government, through the prime minister, says that if people do not have money to buy disposable protective masks, they should use other types of masks to protect themselves, the important thing being to cover their nose and mouth in crowded spaces.

"Obviously, if they do not have the necessary financial resources to purchase a surgical type mask, they should use other forms of nose and mouth protection, which ensure the respective protection. The Directorate of Public Health is the one that evaluates areas with agglomeration, such as the Old Center, where the rules of protection, especially physical distance, cannot be respected."
