The Ministry of Health announced a record in terms of deaths registered in Romania due to the new Coronavirus, the figure being the highest since the beginning of the pandemic until now, and it could increase in the coming weeks.
The Ministry of Health announced that in the last 24 hours, 48 people have died due to the new Coronavirus, far more than the figures recorded daily, and the authorities said that we can expect similar increases in the next period.
"Until today, 2480 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.
In the interval 03.08.2020 (10:00) - 04.08.2020 (10:00) 48 deaths (31 men and 17 women) of patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in hospitals in Arad, Argeș, Bacău were recorded .
Of these, 1 death was registered in the 30-39 years age category, 2 in the 40-49 years age category, 4 deaths in the 50-59 years age category, 17 deaths in the 60-69 years age category, 12 deaths in the age category aged 70-79 years and 12 deaths in the category over 80 years.
All 48 registered deaths are of patients who had comorbidities."
