Google is developing a new Pixel phone model that has a foldable screen, a decision that should not be surprising, if we think that Samsung and Huawei are really successful with these phone models that they have launched for consumers.
Google wants to try this market, and is preparing a Pixel that has the code name "Passport", but this phone would be launched on the market somewhere around the end of 2021, so a very long time away from this point, unfortunately.
Google is most likely trying to have the foldable phone very well prepared to be put on sale at the moment it wants to sell it, so it remains only to see what exactly the American company has prepared, if we will find out anything.
Google can make a foldable phone that's at least as good as the ones from Samsung and Huawei, and launching this late should be a guarantee that the phone won't reach customers until it's in really ready for launch.
