The Government of Romania revealed, through the Minister of Health, a last-minute decision that was taken regarding the Coronavirus, and we are talking about a measure that was necessary for our country in the context of the uncontrolled expansion of the pandemic at the moment.

The Romanian government has announced that it has ordered 10 million doses of a vaccine for the Coronavirus that is currently being developed, and the amount would be sufficient to immunize more than half of the current population on the territory of our country.

The Romanian government does not yet know when this vaccine for the Coronavirus will be launched, so it remains to be seen which of the medical companies working on them will be able to complete one that will be truly beneficial.

"I made a request for 10 million. We wanted to insure at least 50% of the population. Let's see how much we will receive from the European Union from this requested quantity.

The first company that will have the vaccine, the European Commission will go to this company and we will also have access to the vaccine. Two companies are nearing completion, probably in the first half of next year it will be available on the market."
