The Romanian government quarantines Spain for the coronavirus

The Government of Romania, through the CNSU, announced a last-minute decision regarding the Coronavirus pandemic, but also regarding the Romanians who live in the country, or who intend to return to the country in the next period, and the measure was one "of expected".

The Romanian government has decided that all people arriving in Romania from certain areas in Spain, now called red zones by our authorities, will be forced to enter quarantine for a period of 14 days, and you can find more details below.

"The National Committee for Emergency Situations adopted in today's meeting, August 17, Decision number 42.

By the decision of the CNSU, the list of counties was expanded in the case of which hourly operating restrictions are established for economic operators that carry out outdoor activities (terraces, clubs, bars, etc.), as well as for economic operators that carry out gambling activities, the restrictions being valid until August 31, 2020.

The updated list of states with high epidemiological risk, for which the quarantine measure is applied to citizens arriving in Romania from these states, was approved.

Also, the quarantine measure was instituted for people arriving in Romania from 6 regions of the Kingdom of Spain, without suspending flights to and from Romania.
