The Government of Romania: the important announcement regarding schools

The Romanian government's important school announcement

The Government of Romania, through the voice of the Prime Minister, Ludovic Orban, announced that it is very carefully preparing the reopening of schools for pupils and students from all over the country, and this to prevent an explosion of new cases of Coronavirus.

The Romanian government is preparing the opening of schools with great care, but just as there have been flu outbreaks in many, there will also be some of the Coronavirus, the problem here being that the new virus is much more contagious, and hospitalization is mandatory, so the situation can become extremely engrave.

"We allocated a total of 175 million euros. We settle the local authorities and schools for the purchases made on tablets, laptops, web cameras, smart boards, for the purchase of sanitary protection materials - we settle for the local authorities from an allocation of 175 million euros.

I think it is important to decentralize a bit, because purchases at a centralized level are contested and when they are contested, the procedural terms are very long and delay us.

We are preparing the opening of schools very carefully. We are trying to do everything possible during the pandemic, so as to minimize the risk of children and teachers getting sick."
