DACIA Duster is at the center of a surprising announcement for Romania, and one that shows us that things are not exactly as many people imagined, on the contrary, the situation is much different from what was thought. Until August, sales of new cars from the year 2020 reached only 68% compared to the figures recorded during the year 2019, in the same period, and the DACIA Duster is not exactly one of the most sought-after models.
DACIA Duster it is positioned somewhere in the DACIA list, but not quite as high as many people thought, being overtaken by the cheaper models that are put up for sale by the Romanian manufacturer. Regarding the distribution by manufacturers, DACIA had the most cars sold, almost 23.000, Renault followed with almost a quarter of the total, then those from Volkswagen, Skoda, Hyundai, and the rest of the manufacturers that sell in Romania, but DACIA Duster is not the most popular.

DACIA Duster is the third most popular car sold in Romania in the first three months of 2020, after Logan and Sandero, a sign that people prefer cars as cheap as possible instead of SUVs. Although the DACIA Duster is the model that has the largest production allocated at the DACIA factory in Mioveni, it is not the best-selling car in Romania, nor in other European markets, but at the European level it sells better than Logan, not Sandero.
DACIA Duster it has fallen somewhat in consumer preferences because it has a higher selling price than that of Logan and Sandero, and it is not excluded that we will see these latter models register increasing sales. While for the DACIA Duster an important upgrade is expected only somewhere around 2023, for Logan and Sandero we will see major updates this year, so it is expected that sales will increase substantially for them.
DACIA Duster it could have a facelift model released by DACIA sometime next year, but even this is not certain at the moment, so it remains to be seen what we could get.
