Facebook is again at the center of controversies after it made the decision to pay certain people to close their accounts from the social network, just a few weeks before the presidential elections that are to take place throughout the USA.
Facebook believes that between 200.000 and 400.000 people will participate in this experiment that it is currently running, and we are talking about a huge number of people who should be paid to give up both this social network and Instagram.
Facebook pays between 10 dollars and 20 dollars for the deactivation of the account for a period of a minimum of one week, and a maximum of 6 weeks, so that each user chooses how much he receives, and for what period of time he will no longer have access to his account.
So Facebook is now going to pay people to deactivate their IG and FB accounts before Election Day. It's part of the research experiment announced Monday but WOW. This notice went out this week. pic.twitter.com/tV7DAw8F5I
