Digi, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom would bring the Romanian budget several hundred million euros with the purchase of these licenses, at a time when the state needs money from these companies anyway. Some of the operators have already made their "5G" networks based on the current frequencies used for 4G, but DIGI, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom need the new spectrum to be able to offer Romanians the true experience of the latest technology.

The current president of ANCOM, Sorin Grindeanu, promised that the auction will be organized this fall, but those from DIGI, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom have been waiting for a very long time, and probably their patience has somewhat disappeared at the moment.
