"The Ministry of Health reminds that, this week, the scenarios will be established regarding the organization of the activity within the educational units/institutions in epidemiologically safe conditions for the prevention of illness with the SARS-CoV-2 virus

Today, September 7, 2020, all county and Bucharest city public health departments will inform the County/Bucharest City School Inspectorates, respectively the university senates of higher education institutions and the County/Bucharest City Committees for Emergency Situations (CJSU/CMBSU) regarding the epidemiological situation at the level of each locality, and by September 10, depending on these data, the local particularities, the infrastructure and the human resources of each individual educational unit, the board of administration of the educational unit will propose To the County School Inspectorate/of the Municipality of Bucharest, the application of one of the scenarios for the organization and conduct of courses in the educational unit, according to the Order of the Minister of Education and Research and the Minister of Health 5487/1494/ 01.09.2020.

The county/city committees of Bucharest for emergency situations (CJSU/CMBSU) will issue the decision regarding the operating scenario for each educational unit for the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year.

The epidemiological criterion on the basis of which educational units/institutions establish one of the 3 scenarios is the cumulative incidence rate, i.e. the total number of new cases in the last 14 days per 1000 inhabitants.

Scenario 1 Daily participation of all preschoolers and students in educational units, with respect and application of all protection rules
Scenario 2 The daily participation of all preschool and primary school students, students in the VIIIth and XIIth grades, with the observance and application of all protection rules

and

The partial return (by rotation of 1-2 weeks) of students from the other middle school and high school classes, with the observance and application of all protection rules

Scenario 3 Participation of all preschoolers and students in online activities / lessons

"Each school unit will decide and adapt its scenario to the indication of DSPs, county school inspectorates and committees for emergency situations. We support the need to start the activity in the educational units and both the Ministry of Health, as well as the public health directorates and the INSP support the steps to start the new school year in epidemiologically safe conditions", stated the Minister of Health, Nelu Tătaru.
