Raed Arafat: Harsh criticism in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic

Raed Arafat launched a series of very harsh criticisms in the fight against the Corona virus pandemic, some aimed at the People's Advocate and the way in which the person holding the position decided to act, the head of the DSU saying that the actions had a huge impact on Romania, unfortunately .

Raed Arafat said several times what you see below, he tried to bring to everyone's attention the fact that the problems of June and July brought us to the situation we are in at the moment, this being the worst recorded in our country since the beginning of the pandemic.

"I'm not angry. We are in an atypical situation. We are talking about an extremely specialized field when we talk about contagious diseases. We as doctors warn: prevent, limit contacts and a lawyer comes and tells you about individual freedoms. OK. Individual freedom, including the Romanian Constitution, speaks of the right to health, the right to a healthy environment, so this means that I, as an individual, am under no circumstances allowed to neglect an infectious disease and pay attention to your health and say that I do not I am also interested in saying that it is my right.

The People's Advocate will go down in the history of pandemics in the world because we will be a case study, without discussion. What we have suffered in Romania, very few have suffered. Tearing down all the legislation you work with, regardless - it's right, it's not right - so we did nothing but have periods of deadlock and legislative vacuum, and that period can be seen in the analysis. I was very good and going well, and at one point you see how it goes up. It led to a distrust of the population." said Raed Arafat.
