The function has been requested by some people for some time, and the WhatsApp company has finally decided that it is time to offer it to everyone, and we can only be happy that things are like this because it will soon be available .

WhatsApp offers from the beginning the possibility to block notifications for certain conversations, only that everything was available with certain limits, at least until recently, when the decision was made that users should receive more. WhatsApp will still offer the possibility to turn off notifications and sounds for conversations for shorter periods of time, only that the current 1-year option will be replaced by the "permanent" one by the company.
