The Romanian Gendarmerie has a very important warning for Romanians all over the country, and this is because we are talking about a very serious problem that many Romanians ignore, and the authorities are trying to show us that they are still paying attention to what is happening.
"Everything has a price. Even trash, especially when it's thrown into priceless space.
Maybe the darkness was to blame, otherwise we don't understand why a man from Galați mistook the forest for a garbage dump.
He saw fit to throw plastic waste, bottles and plant debris into the forest.
Our colleagues surprised him and, before sanctioning him, asked him why he did such a thing. The man replied, "I didn't know where the waste could be thrown."
The answer: Elsewhere, of course; in specially arranged places.
The man received a fine of 2000 lei and was made to collect the waste."
