Raed Arafat: New measures prepared due to the Coronavirus Pandemic

Raed Arafat New measures Pandemic Coronavirus

Raed Arafat made a very important announcement today, and he says that it is possible to see new measures taken by the authorities in Romania due to the Corona virus pandemic, something that until now has not really been seriously discussed by the authorities in our country, but things are getting very serious.

Raed Arafat says that the state of emergency will not be imposed, and we should not even see new restrictions, but other measures would be taken to ensure compliance with the safety measures that the authorities in Romania impose for citizens, but also various businesses in the country.

"I don't know if it's a state of emergency, but it's about additional measures to be taken due to the increase in the number of cases, that's possible. We have always said that it is possible to take local measures, zonal measures to be intensified, and controls to be intensified because we have to control this growth. No one specifically talked about a state of emergency or no one said - or at least I didn't hear - that a state of emergency would be established.

However, some measures must be instituted because some prefectures have started to institute them, where the number is higher, the incidence is higher, to institute some county, local rules, in certain localities, and we can expect such measures to increase. (…) At this moment there is no discussion of closure or lockdown, as you say, at this moment not." A declared Raed Arafat at DIGI 24.
