The Ministry of Health announced today a new record of people admitted to ATI due to infection with the new Coronavirus, the number reaching 583, and it is rapidly heading towards 600, after which of course it will continue to grow without stopping, until spring.
The Ministry of Health has repeatedly warned that we will see large increases in the number of new cases of the Coronavirus, and this happens every day, so now it is seeing how much the number of people hospitalized in intensive care is increasing, as well as the number of deaths.
"In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7.734. Of these, 583 are hospitalized at ATI.
Until this date, at the national level, 2.496.439 tests have been processed. Of these, 24.847 were performed in the last 24 hours, 15.455 based on the case definition and medical protocol and 9.392 on request."
