COVID-19 Romania: Raed Arafat reveals how many Romanians have been infected

COVID-19 Romania Raed Arafat infected Romanians

Raed Arafat made a very interesting announcement this evening, revealing how many Romanians have already been infected with COVID-19 in Romania, and it is a very high percentage compared to the official figures, as it happens in all countries in which the pandemic affected the population.

COVID-19 would have already infected 4.5% - 5% of the Romanian population, i.e. somewhere up to 1 million people if we take into account the fact that between 18 and 20 million Romanians are now in the country, so a figure over 4 times higher than the official one with the number of people confirmed as infected by RT PCR tests.

"Positively tested cases are fewer than general cases, that's why rules are put in place. If we were sure that those we test are the only positive ones, we would no longer wear a mask, we would no longer have preventive measures.

It is clear that we have positive, contagious, asymptomatic people who do not even know they are contagious.

I can't say what the difference is, but at one point MS gave the prevalence per antibody of 4,5% – 5%. This means that 4,5% of the Romanian population was already exposed and infected, but many did not even know, they thought it was a simple cold or a short-term fever appeared, but they were probably infected and infected others if they did not follow the rules of prevention."
