The Government of Romania: The decision regarding the prioritization of the vaccine for the Coronavirus

The Romanian government prioritizing the Coronavirus vaccine

The Government of Romania announced today, through the Prime Minister, Ludovic Orban, that there will be a priority for vaccines against the new Coronavirus, so that some people will have the priority to receive it, while others will have to wait until they can receive it had administered.

The Romanian government will rely on health specialists to prioritize the vaccine against the Coronavirus, but as some experts have said, those in the medical system should be the first to be immunized, if they want, and then vulnerable people will follow.

"We adopted a memorandum at the European level, there is a clear understanding, when the vaccine will be produced, depending on the quantities produced, they will be distributed to the member countries depending on the population of each country. Obviously, we will do the vaccination without any problem.

There will be a grading that will be done according to the risk categories, naturally, because we will not have a vaccine for everyone from the beginning. This vaccine will most likely be free for the vulnerable categories. There will be prioritization, which is established by health specialists"
