The Coronavirus Pandemic brings us, unfortunately, two new negative records in Romania, and as you will see in the following, everything is due to the complicated situation we are in at the moment, it being generated by the very large number of cases from the last months.
In Romania, we are registering a record number of people admitted to intensive care due to the Coronavirus, but also increasing numbers of deaths, plus a record number of positivities based on daily tests, separate from the period of the state of emergency in March, the situation becoming more and more difficult, Unfortunately.
"In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 10.296. Of these, 757 are hospitalized at ATI.
Up to this date, at the national level, 2.860.226 tests have been processed. Of these, 8.040 were performed in the last 24 hours, 5.681 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 2.359 on request.
On the territory of Romania, 20.968 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 9.678 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 47.407 people are in home quarantine, and 48 people are in institutionalized quarantine."
