Android is the most used operating system for mobile phones in the whole world, we are talking about a software installed on a huge number of devices, which is developed by Google. The American company decided to implement for phone users a variety of functions that they can enjoy, and one of them is called RCS, and it is starting to be spread in more and more areas around the globe now.
Android had the RCS system implemented so that people can natively benefit from a messaging system similar to that offered by applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and more, and now it is extended to several countries. Google implemented its system natively in Android, but the help of telecommunication operators was, and is, needed for it to be useful on people's phones, and that would hardly happen.

Android has support for RCS in 15 new countries since September, many of them from Europe, and even quite close to Romania, without our country being included in the list of those where this system is already useful. For the month of October, we are talking about a new expansion of support availability, 9 more countries will have implemented support for RCS technology, but Romania, unfortunately, still remains excluded, including in this situation.
Android it allows phone users to communicate with each other like iPhone users who have iMessage do, or I hope, about the same, not having support for all functions yet. Google is working hard to expand support for more functions in RCS for Android, but this requires time, and more than that, the help of telecom operators for compatibility.
Android will have an RCS system in the future with as many novelties as iMessage, but it remains to be seen how far this future will be, in the end, for those who are interested in using the technology.
