The Ministry of Health announced today a worrying record for Romanians all over the country, the authorities showing us that almost half of the tests carried out confirmed the fact that the people tested were infected with the new Coronavirus, this being the highest rate of positivity so far.
The Ministry of Health shows us that the positivity rate among Romanians has reached 43.7%, the highest since the tests for the new Coronavirus began and until now, and this is extremely worrying, and may suggest that we can expect an increase in the number of new cases daily.
"Following the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 4.931 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. The distribution of total cases and new cases by county can be found in the table below.
Until this date, at the national level, 3.702.328 tests have been processed. Of these, 11.266 were performed in the last 24 hours, 7.499 based on case definition and medical protocol and 3.767 on request.”
