DIGI Romania: IMPORTANT WARNING for ALL Customers

DIGI Romania has a very important warning for all its customers from all over the country, here is what you absolutely need to know at the moment.

DIGI Romania abuses

DIGI Romania is one of the largest telecommunications groups in Romania, having somewhere around 10 million customers in our country, a huge figure, but normal, if we think about how many services it offers. More than half of them use only the fixed internet services of those from DIGI Romania, and for all of them comes an extremely important warning that absolutely everyone who uses the services of the telecommunications operator must know.

DIGI Romania warns its millions of customers about the abusive or illegal use of its Internet network, a problem that can become very fast, very serious, for all those who are subscribers. DIGI Romania lists on its website a series of rules that must be respected by customers who use its fixed internet services, and the first rule that must not be violated is related to sending unsolicited emails to any person, it being prohibited.

DIGI Romania network abuse

DIGI Romania it also prohibits the generation of large traffic that aims to block the connection of an Internet server, i.e. flood type attacks, the clients will have the connection blocked if they do this, and there have been many cases of this kind over time. DIGI Romania also prohibits the use of its fixed internet network to hack computers, or servers, by exploiting the vulnerabilities of the operating systems used by those computers.

DIGI Romania it also prohibits the distribution of pirated multimedia content, something that in other European countries brings fines directly to the customers, in Romania it is not imposed with any kind of strictness for now. Finally, DIGI Romania prohibits its clients from distributing, or storing on its servers, pornographic or discriminatory content, these actions may lead to the unilateral termination of the contract, as is the case with other telecommunications groups.

DIGI Romania imposes these very strict rules because, more than likely, it has had problems over time due to some clients who abused its network, so it wants to protect itself against any legal actions.
