The Romanian government has announced a very important decision regarding the vaccine against the new Coronavirus, a decision that everyone should know about, and this is because it comes to answer many questions from Romanians who want to know if, or when, they will be vaccinated for Coornavirus.
The Romanian government has begun what seem to be serious preparations for vaccinating the population against the Coronavirus, and if everything goes as it should, then at the end of December, or the beginning of January, the first doses of the vaccine should arrive, including in Romania.
"At the proposal of the Ministry of Health, the Executive approved the Memorandum on the establishment of the National Committee for the coordination of activities regarding vaccination against SARS-CoV-2.
The National Committee for the coordination of activities regarding the vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 is an interministerial body, without legal personality, under the direct subordination of the General Secretariat of the Government and the coordination of the Prime Minister.
The national committee will present the strategy and action plan regarding the anti-Covid 19 vaccination and will carry out their implementation.
The leadership of the Committee is ensured by a president appointed by decision of the Prime Minister, and the activities carried out will be organized in 3 priority areas:
a) Communication
b) Logistics
c) Medical activity – actual vaccination and monitoring of adverse post-vaccination reactions (RAPI)
The role of the Committee is to organize and coordinate the activities regarding vaccination against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, on the following types of responsibility:
– Information and communication for medical personnel and the general population
- Organization of vaccination centers and coordination of their activities
- Ensuring the logistic process necessary for carrying out the activities related to the vaccination process
– Identifying the need for human resources for the vaccination teams
– Elaboration of work procedures necessary for the unitary implementation of activities related to the vaccination process.
The activities of the Committee will be carried out by representatives of the institutions involved within the Ministry of Health and subordinate institutions, under the coordination and authority of the Ministry of Health, with a role in public health (INSP, ANMDMR), the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Works Public, Development and Administration, the National Agency for Public Procurement, as well as representatives of the College of Doctors from Romania and professional organizations.
The State Counselor from the Prime Minister's own work apparatus with attributions in the field of health and the State Counselor from the Prime Minister's own work apparatus, the Government's spokesperson, also participate in the Committee's work."
