Planet Mars: Researchers STUNNED by a HUGE Discovery

The planet Mars is today at the center of a huge new discovery announced by scientists, here is what they observed at a great distance from Earth.

Planet Mars eruptions

Planet Mars continues to amaze researchers from all over the world, who are extremely surprised to discover something they didn't think was possible, but which again shows us the way things are done there. More specifically, scientists have observed at least one volcanic eruption tens of thousands of years old, the planet Mars being volcanically active at one point, but that ended a long time ago.

Planet Mars they would have had oceans and seas many years ago, in which the microorganisms that scientists are currently looking for, but which are extremely difficult to find, could have been found. Until recently, scientists believed that the planet Mars was volcanically active a few tens of millions of years ago, but in reality only about 53.000 years have passed since the last volcanic eruption took place.

Planet Mars volcanic eruptions

Planet Mars had this discovery made based on the analysis of the images from there surprise by the various spaceships that are still in its orbit, and that's how the scientists came to the conclusion that there is life there. Scientists say that the eruptions that took place there would have thrown magma, and various residues, at heights of up to several kilometers, then all falling on the surface of the planet Mars, and forming what the researchers see in the images at this moment.

"If this deposit is of volcanic origin, it is possible that the Cerberus Fossae region is not extinct and Mars is still volcanically active today. To have life, you need energy, carbon, water and nutrients. And a volcanic system ensures all of that.”

Planet Mars did not have, at least in the case of this eruption, very large amounts of volcanic lava thrown into the atmosphere, the amount being lower than that recorded in the case of the eruption of the volcano on Mount St. Elena, from 1980. Despite this, this activity is seen by researchers as a very clear sign that life once existed on the planet Mars, but for now it is unclear in what form, at least based on the discoveries so far.

Planet Mars it will continue to be researched by scientists in order to discover as many of its secrets as possible, so it will be interesting to see what we will find out about it in the coming years.
