The COVID-19 pandemic continues strongly in Romania at the moment, and this brought us today a record positivity rate for our country, no less than 42.33%, huge, but to be expected if we think of it as a good period from time to time things just go in a completely wrong direction, unfortunately.
Only 9938 tests were done in the last 24 hours in Romania, and a little over 4000 of them turned out to be positive for COVID-19, so we are talking about a new very dangerous record that was recorded in our country, and things will go in the same direction, unfortunately for all of us.
"Until this date, at the national level, 3.908.681 tests have been processed. Of these, 9.938 were performed in the last 24 hours, 7.488 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 2.450 on request.
On the territory of Romania, 48.034 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 12.459 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 82.274 people are in home quarantine, and 15 people are in institutionalized quarantine."
