The Coronavirus pandemic has reached a critical point in Romania, and because of this we end up seeing images like the ones we saw recorded in the spring in China, or Italy, where people were lying in the hallways next to oxygen tubes, in instead of being admitted to intensive care.
The situation has become dramatic in Romania as well, at the Matei Bals Institute there are no more intensive care beds for patients, so they are forced to sit on the waiting chairs in the hospital corridors, where they receive the oxygen they need to survive the infection with the new coronavirus.
