Klaus Iohannis made a very important announcement today regarding the intensive care beds that are available for patients who are sick, the Romanian president stating that their number is to be increased by 300 in, most likely, a week.
Klaus Iohannis also said that no less than 3 million rapid tests for the Coronavirus will arrive in Romania in the next period, they will be used to detect a possible infection in the human body more quickly before an RT PCR test is done .
"There is some good news in this area. By the way, there are about 300 ventilators that are being delivered in the next few days and this will expand the capacity of the Intensive Care Units.
In less than a week, the first tranche of 3 million rapid tests that have already been ordered will arrive and, to support more seriously ill patients, around 500 oxygen concentrators are already being installed."
