Government of Romania Decision regarding the extension of the state of alert by 30 days

The Romanian government published the decision by which it decided to extend the state of alert for another 30 days in Romania, and you can see below exactly what kind of measures were adopted by the country's authorities.

"Considering the analysis of the risk factors regarding the management of the emergency situation generated by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, on the territory of Romania on 09.12.2020, carried out at the level of the National Center for Coordination and Management of the Intervention,
taking into account the persistence of an increased number of infected persons on the national territory, as well as the daily appearance of new cases of infected persons,
aspects that generate constant pressure on the management capacity of administrative-territorial units and the health system,
in the context of the need to create the socio-economic conditions necessary for the gradual relaunch of the national economy, while maintaining an adequate level of alert at the level of the components of the National Emergency Management System,
in consideration of the provisions of art. 7^1 of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 11/2020, regarding medical emergency stocks, as well as some measures related to the establishment of quarantine, approved with amendments and additions by Law no. 20/2020, with subsequent amendments and additions, regarding the empowerment of the Secretary of State, Head of the Department for Emergency Situations within the Ministry of Internal Affairs to order any necessary measures for situations where there is an imminent risk to public health, as well as the provisions GD no. 557/2016 on the management of risk types,
In accordance with Art. 4 para. (1) lit. c) and d) and art. 81 of GEO. no. 21/2004 on the National Emergency Management System, with subsequent amendments and completions,
pursuant to the provisions of art. 4 and art. 11 paragraph (1) from Law no. 136/2020 republished, regarding the establishment of measures in the field of public health in situations of epidemiological and biological risk, art. 9 para. (1), art. 32 para. (2), art. 37, art. 41, art. 42 para. (1), art. 43 para. (1), art. 44 para. (2) and (3), art. 45 para. (1) and art. 71 of Law no. 55/2020 regarding some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, of art. 20 lit. l) from Government Emergency Ordinance no. 21/2004 regarding the National Emergency Management System, approved with amendments and additions by Law no. 15/2005, with subsequent amendments and additions, and of art. 2 and art. 4 of Government Decision no. 94/2014 regarding the organization, functioning and composition of the National Committee for
Special Emergency Situations,

The National Committee for Emergency Situations adopts this DECISION:

Art.1 - It is proposed to extend the alert status on the entire national territory, for a period of 30 days, starting with 14.12.2020.

Art.2 - The measures for prevention and control of infections generated by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, necessary to be adopted starting with 14.12.2020, in the current epidemiological context, are provided in annex no. 1.

Art.3 - The list of countries / areas / territories of high epidemiological risk for which the quarantine measure is established on the persons arriving in Romania from them, provided in annex no. 2.

Art.4 - This decision is communicated to all components of the National Emergency Management System, for implementation by order and administrative acts of their leaders.

Art.5 – Annexes 1 and 2 are an integral part of this decision."
