Raed Arafat: HARD announcement for ALL of Romania

Tonight, Raed Arafat has a new tough message for all of Romania, and this is because we are talking about the serious problem that exists for daily infections, the head of the DSU stating that the terraces that still violate the rules of prevention against the Coronavirus should be closed.

Raed Arafat has said several times that the terraces that do not comply with the preventive measures should not be left in operation, but it seems that some go unnoticed during the controls of the authorities, something for sure that should not happen in reality.

"The Government decision clearly states that these are no longer terraces and are closed spaces. The role of law enforcement officers, including DSPs and DSVs, is to fine and lock them up. Action must be taken there. They have to check and see what terrace in open space means, and if the rules are not followed fine them or close them.

We have rules, these rules are not respected, and further the number of cases starts to increase. The Government decision is very clear. Intentionally in the Government Decision I introduced the definition of open space and what a closed space means, which should be based on a definition in the law. We took the definition from the Smoking Law in the GD. From the moment it already has the figure you're talking about, it has walls and a roof, you can't say it's a terrace, just because it's outside the restaurant, it's still a closed space, even if it has transparent walls."
