Facebook: ATTENTION, the New Method to STEAL People's Accounts

Facebook steals accounts

Facebook has once again used the image in a phishing attack, and this time we are talking about cloning the company's website to make the attack appear as truthful as possible, although in essence it is nothing more than a gross hoax .

Facebook has the users targeted by a phishing attack presented by computer security researchers in the image below, all starting with the question "Is it you in this video?" which comes along with a message that appears to have a video link attached.

Of course, a black image appears in that video, as if urging people to access it, but when they do, they end up on a website that is a clone of Facebook, and when logging in, the user's data is stolen, and then used by hackers for malicious purposes.

Facebook steals fake accounts

Facebook more than certainly knows about this problem, but it doesn't really have anything to do because messages of this kind are distributed within a variety of social media platforms, not only on Facebook Messenger, but also on WhatsApp, Instagram, and not only that's all.
