The black hole remains one of the mysterious objects in the universe, scientists know very little about them, and the information we find is discovered in small numbers, and at a slower pace. Despite this, scientists have come to the conclusion that some black holes in the universe could actually be the entrances to "wormholes", the name used for those tunnels that connect distant points in the universe as we know it.
Black holes have never had their interior explored because no spacecraft can be sent near any such object, all being placed at very great distances from Earth. Even if such a thing were to happen, no one believes that a spacecraft sent into a black hole could provide information about what it finds inside, because it would disappear, or could be destroyed, without providing relevant data for scientists.

However, scientists are of the opinion that active black holes exist in very active galaxies, which would actually be wormholes to other areas in the universe, which would be an incredible discovery. Only supermassive black holes are seen as possible wormholes, and this is because of their very large dimensions, but also because of their increased activity, which change their size based on the planets and stars that enter them over time.
"Very active galaxies with an active galactic nucleus are 'candidates' for wormholes. The wormholes we are considering are traversable wormholes, so theoretically spaceships can travel through them. A very interesting and unusual consequence of the existence of such wormholes is that such wormholes are natural time machines."
Researchers have discovered so far that black holes destroy cosmic bodies, and throw cosmic dust into the universe as a result of these actions, so it is interesting to discover how they influence the possible existence of wormholes. On the other hand, black holes are beginning to be studied more carefully by scientists, and a video clip of the one in the center of the Milky Way galaxy will be published soon, which may reveal many of the remaining mysteries related to it.
Black holes could be wormholes to other locations in the universe, and it is possible that in the future we will be able to explore them, but this future is much, much, further away than it seems at the moment.
