Orange: Majora CHANGE from January 1 for ALL Customers

Orange is obliged to make a very important change from January 1, 2021 for millions of customers, here's what you get in addition to last week.

Orange decline

Orange was obliged starting on January 1, 2021 to make a major change for all its clients from all over Romania, and we are talking about something that has an impact for any of those who use its services. More precisely, all Orange customers who have mobile phone subscriptions, or prepaid cards, will benefit from more roaming internet traffic as part of changes made at European level for all telecommunications operators.

Orange will have to reduce the surcharge for roaming mobile internet from 3.5 euros, without VAT, to 3 euros, without VAT, so that you will be able to consume more GB at a lower price than until now. Apart from that, those from Orange are also obliged to allocate more internet traffic for customers in Romania when they generate roaming consumption, and the difference will be given by the change for the surcharge applied for everyone.

Orange: Majora CHANGE from January 1 for ALL Customers

Orange should increase, on average, by 14% the internet traffic available for customers who have subscriptions, or extra options for prepaid cards, and everything should be offered from January 1, 2021. Depending on the value of the subscription, or in addition to the prepay option, the internet traffic that is offered in roaming by Orange or any other operator is also calculated, so everything depends on what the customers pay, definitively, for what they consume.

Orange has not yet sent notification messages to even all customers who enjoy this change, so if you haven't received it yet, you shouldn't worry because nothing has simply been sent to you. On the other hand, those from Orange should start informing their customers about this important change that ANCOM told us about, and that's because it's one that everyone needs to know about.

Orange is obliged to make this change just like all the other telecommunications operators in our country, so none will be able to "escape" the implementation of the change.
