Romanian Government: possible new restrictions due to the new strain of the Coronavirus

The Romanian government restricts the strain of the Coronavirus

The Romanian government does not keep up with the civilized countries of the European Union, so while many have taken preventive new restrictive measures to reduce as much as possible the spread of the new strain of the Coronavirus, we are still analyzing its impact.

The Romanian government says, through the minister who heads the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lucian Bode, that the application of new restrictive measures is not yet foreseen, but after the impact of the new strain of the Coronavirus will be analyzed, it will be seen if any decision will be made.

"At this moment, no new restrictions are foreseen. I make this clarification because the issue of imposing new restrictions on the territory of Romania has been circulated a lot in the public space.

Our appeal to the citizens is not to let their guard down, to continue to observe the general protection measures in order to maintain their own health and those around them, and also to inform themselves about the vaccination against COVID-19. And speaking of vaccination, I am happy to tell you that the total number of doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered is 446.285.”
