According to those from Ookla, who own Speedtest, DIGI, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom have managed to improve the mobile internet speeds enjoyed by Romanians at the moment, succeeding in raising Romania to the international top which is constantly updated.
Digi, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom managed to help Romania climb no less than 4 places in the international top of mobile internet speeds recorded by users from many countries around the globe. DIGI, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom made large investments in their own mobile phone networks in 2020, covering 98% of the population, almost all of them, and with that came better internet speeds for customers all over the country.

Digi, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom they also managed to improve the latencies recorded by customers who use their mobile network, so we are talking about a decrease from 26 ms to 23 ms. The difference here is much smaller than in the case of the download speeds offered by DIGI, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom, but any kind of progress deserves praise, and we should not be afraid to do it even in the case of latent ones, which are very important in many cases of use.
