OLX, the largest online classifieds platform in Romania, has notified its millions of users about a series of changes that will come into force starting on February 17, and which bring an alignment with the European Union regulations.
"Starting February 17, 2021, OLX members in all European countries will enjoy even more transparency and a unified experience, in line with the European Union regulation for online platforms and businesses.
The updated version of OLX Terms and Conditions comes with more clarity and some improvements. Here are the most important changes:
STRUCTURE: We have standardized the structure of the Terms and Conditions list so that it is easier to understand. Including at the design level, where we have distributed the rules into several sections and highlighted the rules most relevant to you (for example, the list of items that cannot be sold on OLX, price lists and information about ad limits).
TERMS: We have clarified the rights and obligations for our private and professional users.
REFUNDS: We've simplified the refund process if your ads are removed or moderated.
This update to the terms and conditions of use of the OLX platform will help us to quickly implement changes in case of new regulations and will allow us to launch new solutions for emerging needs among customers.”
