The Romanian government announced that almost 200.000 new doses of the vaccine against the Coronavirus arrived in Romania in the last day, and we are talking about a figure sufficient to vaccinate almost 100.000 people in the coming weeks.

The Romanian government continues to receive doses from the same manufacturer, but also from Moderna, or AstraZeneca, so that as many people as possible can be immunized in the next period in order to reduce the number of infections in the country.

The ninth tranche of vaccine from Pfizer BioNTech will arrive in Romania, by air, at the airports of Otopeni, Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara.
Doses will be distributed as follows:
– Bucharest National Storage Center: 60.840 doses;
– Regional Storage Center Brașov: 24.570 doses;
– Cluj Regional Storage Center: 23.400 doses;
– Constanța Regional Storage Center: 21.060 doses;
– Craiova Regional Storage Center: 21.060 doses;
– Iași Regional Storage Center: 24.570 doses;
– Timișoara Regional Storage Center: 21.060 doses.
The next batch of vaccine should be brought to Romania on Monday, February 22."
