Government of Romania vaccine doses received

The Romanian government, through the president of CNCAV, revealed today how many doses of vaccine have been delivered in Romania so far, and we are talking about 1.5 million doses of which 1.15 million were used to vaccinate the eligible population.

The Romanian government expects in the coming weeks another few hundred thousand doses, less than what is needed to cover the 1 million appointments already made, and others that will come when the vaccination of those who are part of the 3rd category is allowed.

"Valeriu Gheorghiță, coordinator of the vaccination campaign against COVID-19: The total number of doses received in Romania, on February 16, is 1.560.509 doses, of which 1.151.112 doses were administered. The existing stock on this day, February 16, is 262.876 doses at the level of the regional storage centers.
From March 1, we are trying to implement the priority vaccination of education staff, which includes all staff in nurseries, kindergartens, primary school, gymnasium, high school teachers and university education system teachers. This stage will be carried out with the help of mobile vaccination teams."
