BANK Transilvania surprises customers from all over Romania with an announcement that generated a lot of amazement in what concerns them, but also in the case of customers who have accounts at other banks in our country. As you already know very well, those from BANCA Transilvania have a special application called BT Pay, which allows the administration of bank accounts and cards, but the functionality implemented for phones is much more complex than what we see in similar ones.
BANK Transilvania has implemented in its application a special function that gives us the possibility to add accounts from two other banks in Romania, plus one international one, to see balances and transactions. Those from BANCA Transilvania say that at the moment its clients can add cards from BCR, ING and Revolut in the BT Pay application, and directly there they can see information about balances and some of the latest transactions made in Romania.

BANK Transilvania, if I'm not mistaken, is the only one in Romania that offers such functionality for a mobile banking application, and it is very useful for those who have accounts at several banks. BANCA Transilvania offers this functionality under the name of Open Banking, and it is something that is not so easy to believe at first glance, but we are still talking about a very good measure, in the end, for many of the clients from all over Romania.
BANK Transilvania wants to help Romanians keep track of their own cards in such a way that regardless of whether they use the mobile banking application of the bank where they have the account, or theirs, they can find out the same information. BANCA Transilvania does not offer other options beyond checking a balance and viewing some transactions, but here we are basically talking about what we would see anyway at any ATM, and this is because the banks offer each other access to some information.
BANK Transilvania offers this special Open Banking function both for phones with the iPhone operating system and for those with the Android operating system, so there are no limitations of any kind.
