Facebook has taken this measure since 2020 regarding myths about the Coronavirus, and more recently for those regarding vaccination, so it is a logical new measure regarding global warming, and it is good that it is finally thinking about so.

Facebook has recently tried to give people only correct information about the problems that affect the whole world, and it is very possible that in the future we will also see other important initiatives of this kind made by the American company.

“The Climate Science Information Center connects people on Facebook with science-based news, accessible information and accessible resources from the world's leading climate change organizations. The hub includes detailed deep dives that go beyond the basic facts as well as ways to get involved. It also has information relevant to where you live. The hub is already available in France, Germany, UK and USA, from today our hub will also be available in Belgium, Brazil, Canada, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Nigeria, Spain, South Africa and Taiwan.

Along with the expansion of the center, we are improving it. We've added a section containing facts that debunk common climate myths – including that too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is harming the earth's plant life and that polar bear populations are declining due to global warming. To debunk the myths with actual, specific facts, we brought in climate communication experts from George Mason University, the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, and the University of Cambridge.”
