COVID-19 Romania: The 3rd Vaccination Stage begins in April

COVID-19 Romania Stage 3 Vaccination April

Valeriu Gheorghita, the coordinator of the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 in Romania, announced that in April the vaccination of people belonging to the 3rd group will start, with waiting lists that will be open as early as March.

The 3rd stage of vaccination against COVID-19 targets the general population, which is not over 65 years old, but also does not have chronic diseases, so that anyone will be able to schedule themselves for vaccination, or will be able to be scheduled by the doctor family, or employer.

"From the middle of March we put the waiting list into operation, the people will register on that list and in the order of the list we allocate available places to the people who sign up in the second stage and after 75% vulnerable people. We will secure places and when we reach a high enough level in these categories, we will also allocate for stage III." said Valeriu Gheorghita.
