Nelu Tataru: Romanians should be vaccinated in pharmacies

Nelu Tataru vaccination test pharmacies

Nelu Tataru, the former Minister of Health, currently a parliamentarian, comes up with an idea that outside of Romania has proven to be implemented quite well, more precisely that pharmacies should be centers for the prevention of the Coronavirus, but also vaccination, something that would relieve seriously the medical system.

Nelu Tataru says that testing in pharmacies eliminates the mistakes made in the processing of rapid tests for the Coronavirus, and this is because people without medical training could do the test incorrectly and would not discover if they are really infected.

"Another topic of interest that came as a proposal was the possibility for the population to test themselves in pharmacies, as it happened in some EU states, such as Italy.

In this way, those who decide to test themselves, regardless of whether they are symptomatic or asymptomatic, would have the assurance of a correctly performed test, without the error that can occur with self-testing at home.

We cannot rule out any discussion whereby, in the near future, pharmacies can have access to population vaccination."
