COVID-19 Romania: WARNING regarding NEW Restrictions for Wave 3

COVID-19 Romania restrictions wave 3

Virgil Musta, the well-known doctor who runs the hospital for infectious diseases in Timisoara, says that if Romanians do not take care and protect themselves, then the third wave of COVID-19 will bring new restrictions in Romania, as it happens in other areas of Europe.

Virgil Musta says that the hospital he runs is full of patients infected with COVID-19, and all those who recover and leave are automatically replaced by others who were waiting for a place to enter the medical unit, which shows us how serious it is the following situation.

"If we are cautious, the pandemic can be kept under control. I am convinced that this will happen so that Easter will be traditional and we will not have to take restrictive measures. But for that, everyone needs to understand the risk of wave 3, and the rules must be followed.

It is very likely that if the rules are not followed, the restrictions will increase as in all of Europe which is almost closed due to the great pressure on the health system which is in most European countries. I think it is not enough to discuss in the hospital, but it must be discussed in the community with the decision makers.

Our hospital is level 1 and it is full, we only have a few places where, as soon as they are released, other patients are taken. Support hospitals are also under pressure. Let's be cautious and act accordingly in time. said Virgil Musta at DIGI 24."
